Description :: Plans and processes orders placed to suppliers. To source, analyze quotations and negotiate price with suppliers. Issues Purchase Orders and follows-up on delivery of materials. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery. Obtain materials, equipment or supplies at lowest costs consistent with the cost, quality and delivery dateline. Maintain complete updated purchasing records/data and pricing in the system. Source for new parts,suppliers or sub-contractors when the need arises. Comply with the established procurement procedures and works towards achieving the company's target on improvement of material costs.
Requirements :: - Candidates must possess at least STPM, Diploma or relevant qualifications.
- At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Purchasing/Inventory or equivalent.
- Possess good interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
Lowest Qualification :: STPM / A Level / College Foundation
