- CONTRACT AND PROCUREMENT DEPARTMENT (CPD)
- Provide legal advice and assistance.
- Attend to all legal matters and ensure company’s interest is protected at all time.
- Evaluate or monitor contract agreement to determine necessity for amendment and facilitate the compliance to contractual obligations.
- Approve or reject requests for deviations from contract specifications and delivery schedules.
- Arbitrate claims or complaints occurring in performance of contract.
- Analyze price proposals, financial reports and other data to determine reasonableness of price.
- Secretary to the Tender and Contractors’ Performance Review Committee.
- Liaise with the Ministry, local Government and Group of Company Lawyer to ensure smooth management of matters relating to legal matters.
- To follow and update all related procedures and documentation and to improve contract administration processes.
- Provide effective and efficient secretarial support.
- To prepare Monthly Progress Report to the management. - Requirements :
- - Degree in Law.
- At least 2 year experience in the related field.
- Knowledge of Solid Waste Management; Environmental Laws; Labor Laws; Contractual matters; Finance and Accounts; PC literate especially in Microsoft Office.
- Good oral and written communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia; innovative; analytical; focus and committed.
- Able to do report writing and liaison skills.
