Description :: · To perform market intelligence study, observe external and internal trends and developments, formulating and assessing product requests/ideas and submitting corresponding proposals for new product developments or modifications.
· To prepare marketing plans for new/existing products or services.
· Responsible for monitoring the performance of existing products so to propose any product enhancement opportunities, highlight any alarming situations with recommendations/proposed solutions.
· Conduct product mix study regularly to help ensure the products are in line with the profitability and production objectives.
· Ensure products launch meet internal and regulatory requirements.
· To assist in product launches, road shows and product marketing activities.
· To assume any other duties/projects as and when required by the Head of Product Development Department
· Any other duties/ad-hoc projects assigned by the departmental head.
Requirements :: · At least three (3) years working experience, preferably in the unit trust product development related role.
· Degree in Finance, Economics, Marketing, Mathematics or related field.
· Knowledge in unit trust products and unit trust product development process.
· Working experience in Financial or Investment Services is an added advantage
· Strong command of English and Chinese, both verbal and written.
· Experience in communicating with all levels of staff and field force.
· Strong organizational, project management, analytical and relationship building skills, resourceful, result-oriented and have ability to multi-task.
· Experience in managerial functions, including coaching junior staff.
· Computer skills, especially the use of excel formulae and database language.
· Able to make decisions and exercise judgment.
· Able to work under tight deadlines.
· Possess own transport, willing and able to travel for product-related events.
Lowest Qualification :: Bachelor Degree
