Sistem Lingkaran-Lebuhraya Kajang Sdn Bhd (“SILK”) is a wholly owned subsidiary of SILK Holdings Berhad, a public listed on the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad.
SILK, more popularly known as KAJANG SILK Highway was incorporated in Malaysia under the Companies Act, 1965 as a private limited company on 20 December 1995. SILK is a single purpose company that holds the concession granted by the Government of Malaysia to design, construct, operate and maintain the 37km KAJANG SILK Highway.
The KAJANG SILK Highway is one of the Government of Malaysia urban Toll Highway project designed to alleviate the daily traffic congestion in the densely populated Kajang area and its vicinity.
