Description :
• Design, develop and qualify new Opto-Electronics products/packages.
• Lead, plan and drive new product/package and replacement packaging material development projects.
• Initiate and work with suppliers to provide robust design solutions.
• Resolve product/package robustness quality and reliability issues.
• Initiate product/package specifications and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with quality system and other safety agency regulations.
• Liaise with supporting teams including R&D teams to introduce highly manufacturable products.
• Source and procure materials/ tools/equipments needed to construct prototype and production volume ramp-up.
• Support process and equipment engineering programs.


 
Requirements :
• 2 to 3 years related experience in the Semiconductor Industry. Candidates with either Product or Package Development and/or Process experience will have added advantage.
• Min 5 years related experience for Staff Engineer.
• Good report writing and data analysis skills are required. Knowledge of lead frame design, design software like ACAD, Solidworks will have added advantage.
• Candidates with longer years of experience can be considered for senior post.
• Fresh candidates with necessary skills are also encouraged to apply.
Education :
• Degree or Master Degree in Material / Mechanical / Electronic Engineering.

• Knowledge of Opto-Semiconductor Technology Design & Development
• Preference to candidate with experience in Opto-coupler design and development.
