Description :: - Responsible for the implementation of an effective Occupational Safety, Health & Environment Management Plan and well verse with Occupational Health & Safety Act.
- Create awareness to all staff regarding environment, safety and health workplace.
- Investigate any accident, near miss accident or dangerous occurrence in the place of work.
- Chair Emergency Response Team (ERT), First Aid Team and promote environmental health and safety awareness to all employees.
- Control and take actions in the event of emergency e.g. fire, major chemical spillage, floods etc.
- Conduct Job Safety Analysis on work process as and when required.
- Act as Company's liaison with relevant authorities such as DOSH, DOE etc concerning safety, health and environment issues.
- Constantly and regularly train and educate all staff on safety and health policies and conduct training/briefing for all staff and contractors on all aspects of safety & health on regular basis.
- Monitoring and inspection of equipments, sites/workplaces and ensure suitable protective equipment is provided, used correctly and compliance with safety policies.
- To identify potential risk and recommend practical and cost effective solutions in safety management.
- Co-ordinate planning and execution of HSE audit programmes and advice on appropriate follow-up.
- Represent the organization in various OSH-related external forums, seminars, meetings & etc when required.
Requirements :: - Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Occupational Safety & Health
- Required skill(s): quality assurance, quality control, QMS, ISO9001 Awareness
- Required skill(s): MS Office.
- Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia
