Description :: Description of position:
To ensure technical efficiency of marine facilities, in accordance with class and international rules and standard and with the offshore operations; to coordinate maintenance team guaranteeing, in compliance with schedule, cost quality and safety standard of marine spread.

Responsibilities:
Carry-out on board visits and audits for inspection and co-ordination with persons in charge of routine and special maintenance activities also supporting in audits requested according with ISM and ISPS certifications
Ensure the equipment and units are responding
Collection and entry of information to update the database of the equipment and units
Coordination/ supervision of ordinary and extraordinary maintenance to guarantee in case breakdown to availability of the units
Responsible for establishing and implementing good systems and engineering practices with the Marine Operations Department
Technical support to vessel management of spare parts for implementation of maintenance and corrective actions to be implemented to solve the daily technical problems as assigned
Collaborate with technical units in definition of new-design facilities and equipment to ensure preparation of the relevant standards
Requirements :: Requirements:
Degree in Chief Engineer
Deep understanding of Electrical and Electronic aspects of Dynamic Positioning Systems
Min 5 years practical experience as Chief Engineer on a DP Class 2 DSV and a minimum 3 years in an onshore based Technical Superintendents position managing technical aspects for DSV
Experience in management of the Technical part of vessel upgrades
Conversant with Class, Local Maritime Rules and Flag state requirements
Fluent in English
Must have experience in DSV vessels
Singaporean / SPR preferred
