Applications are invited for PhD studentships at the Process Systems Engineering Centre (PROSPECT), Faculty of Chemical Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.
Project Title: Operability and Flexibility of Energy-Integrated Distillation Columns
This project offers an excellent opportunity to work on the development of a new methodology for analyzing operability and flexibility of energy-integrated distillation columns. This fulltime position also requires to integrate process design criteria with process control criteria to design operable, flexible and cost effective energy-integrated distillation columns for chemical processes.
- Requirements :
- The successful candidate will be expected to take up the studentship in Feb 2013. The project is internally funded by the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, under Research University Grant Scheme (RUGS).
Students with Chemical Engineering degree with knowledge of process modelling and simulation are encouraged to apply.

Process Systems Engineering Centre (PROSPECT) is a centre of excellence within the Faculty of Chemical Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.
