- • Maintain all instrumentation equipment and machine including electronics and pneumatic systems on site. Test and calibrate equipment in accordance with ISO 9001 procedures
• Read, understand and interpret PID/Loop/Instrument Calculation/Data Sheet/Electrical system drawings.
• Effectively diagnose and rectify faults on all electrical/instrumentation equipment.
• Install minor electrical and instrumentation systems in line with appropriate safety standards.
• Ensure as far as possible that electrical / instrumentation systems are designed, installed and maintained in line with manufacturer’s recommendations, Company procedures and Health & Safety Legislation.
• Work on his own initiative to optimize the use of his skills. Daily plant routine job is essential eg :- plant walkthrough, spare part management, on standby mode on rest day.
• Carry out basic mechanical work. e.g Removal/Refitting of in-line instruments and valves
• Assist superior in ensuring that all electrical / instrumentation equipment/spares/materials/consumable items are purchased/stocked as required.
• Operate the site Computerized Maintenance Management System to input required information on a day to day basic.
• Maintain all equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Maintain appropriate standards of safety and housekeeping in line with health & safety legislation and those set by the Company, including all safety Procedures.
• Carry out as directed any other duties for which he has the skill and ability.
• Identify problems areas and make recommendations to resolve them. - Requirements :
- • SPM/Certificate/ Diploma in Instrumentation/Electronics/Electrical or with relevant experiences
• Minimum 3 years working experience in Petrochemical industry
• Must be able to perform field instrument troubleshooting work, calibration and installation. Must have knowledge in hart protocol, remote I/O system, Various brand of field process / analytical instrument.
• Able to analyze and resolve technical problem by logical thinking
• Proficient in English, Malay and Mandarin
• Excellent self-discipline and self-initiative. - Lowest Qualification :
