- 1. Risk management and implementation of various regulations
2. To sustain and continue to improve safety / health measures necessary in the interest of the Company and its employees
3. To coordinate with the Head of Departments in ensuring fire and other hazards are minimized at all times
4. To liaise with government agencies in respect of occupational safety / health matters
5. To liaise and coordinate the implementation of the various safety policies / regulations
6. To maintain safety records i.e. accidents / fires, permit to work and etc.
7. To organize organise Safety Training Programs.
8. To coordinate Sustainable Development program and monthly reporting
9. To be an active player in the implementation of Responsible Care Program
10. To maintain and be a part of the ER team.
11. To be the obligatory member of the Safety/ Health Committee as a committee secretary. - Requirements :
- 1. Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety) or equivalent.
2. At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
3. Knowledge in ISO 9001 and EMS14000
4. Well-versed with the Occupational Health & Safety Act
