Description :: • Analyses, inspects and reviews findings to determine the solution to the problem that the customer demands. Works alongside with technical engineer, quality engineer for process improvement prior to next lot delivery. (QA)
• Review product process, compare to actual part in customer side, provide suggestion for improvement. Offers customer DFM and proposal of product design change. (Engineering)
• Conduct DOE (Design of Experiment) at customer side or review internal result for a part/process that requires major comparison to decide which way is better to improve part quality. (Engineering)
• Provide technical solution on internal & external quality issues such as immediate rework for short term action, short term rework for FG and WIP and work with Quality and Engineering for long term action. (Engineering)
• Monitors performance of the product via report from CQE against actual finding on site. (QA)
• Reports common complaints of customers to top management in order to address the situation for future reference (QA)
• Makes recommendations to production, engineering, QA and offers feedback on product development, process and critical check point. (QA)
• Responds to customer complaints; evaluates and resolves problems of the customer (On site rework, purging, modification and inspection). (Production)
• Transfer, coordinate and Buy off customer part in KMS, Richport and any AVL in Singapore. (Logistic)
• Conduct MVT (Mechanical Valuation Test) with customer at customer premises. (QA)
• Assists in unload, packing, installing the product at Wentel Corporation Warehouse or customer premises. (Include part transfer to Trolley) (Production)
• Liaise with customer to resolve Document, Trolley, Part Transfer and return. (Logistic)
• Develops and maintains relations with customers (Sales)
• To assist in Develop new products and new customers. (Engineering)
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements :: An associate degree as a technical is the minimum requirement for a resident service engineer. A good proven track record in academic achievement and fluency in English is essential. No certification or license is required for a service engineer although employment opportunities are greater for those with certifications. Knowledge in customer service principles and practices are essential as well as some administrative procedures. Excellent human relation, communication and technical skills are critical. Computer literacy in Microsoft Office is a must.
