- • To plan, organise, direct and control manpower and equipment capacity to maximise utilization and meet production schedules.
• Able to plan and organise departmental activities such as production processes and directs manufacturers of products by efficient methods at economical cost and according to time schedule.
• To develop, monitor and execute capacity plan for department production capacity schedules and quality to meet organisational target.
• Consider estimated cost, devises time saving and economical method of production.
• Check work by sight and with measuring instruments at different stages of production to ensure conformity with prescribed standards and tolerance limits.
• Be decisive in decision making.
• Able to design, develop and delegate suitable department functions.
• To train, develop and motivate subordinates to achieve high performance standards.
• To prepare operations report on production efficiency, work and process stock against budgeted targets.
• To prepare problem – solving and troubleshooting proceed so as to reduce the production related problems and delays.
• To generate production reports, update specifications and work procedures.
