Description :: • Run the assigned units safely, keeping the product specifications
• Monitoring the lab results and coordinating the field and control room operations
• Perform proper planning and coordination of the routine maintenance activities
• Prepare daily production reports
Requirements :: • Diploma in Chemical, Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Process Technology
• At least 10 years of experience in refinery process and utilities operations with at least 3 years as Shift Supervisor, or equivalent, at similar facilities
• Possesses AESP from DOSH accredited training body – NIOSH
• Certified as Authorised Gas Tester and registered with DOSH
• Knowledge and experience as Work Permit Approver
• Knowledge and experience as On Scene Commander and able to manage ERT during emergencies
• Minimum Steam Engineer Grade 2
• Strong command in general Process Safety control requirements
• Fit to work in refinery and confined space environment (pre-employment health screening needs to be completed)
• Able to communicate well (verbally and written) in both Bahasa Melayu and English
• Good computer skills for word documents, spreadsheets and industry forms/ reports
• Strong attention to details and good follow-through skills
• Ability to work well in fast paced environment
