Description :: - Contribute to procurement management activities togather with Localization, Purchasing and Quality, especially the review and approval of vendors, supplied components i.e sub-material, local parts and ect.
- Working with the Project Team to ensure adequate Quality Control expertise is available at the appropriate project delivery point
- Interfacing with Quality and Production Engineering on the management of quality requirements and deliverables of facilities/equipments/tools/jigs supplied by contractors/fabricators/traders.
- Proactive identification and proposition for rectification of project weaknesses and setbacks in term of quality.
- Verifiying through monitoring, surveillance and review the effectiveness and implemantation of the project delivery processes and procedures.
- Ensure Quality Management System ISO9001:2015 standards and Environmental Management Systems ISO14001:2015 standards is complied accrodingly.
- Project Quality which includes the Quality Protocols which adhere to the Norms and Standards of PSA group and statutory requirements for the New Product Introductions
- Coordinate and manage Project Qulity Audit Program both internally or externally in collaboration with Quality department and as well as external parties.
- Contribution to peridical reporting on projects quality status of different aspect.
Requirements :: - Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Industrial), Engineering (Others) or equivalent.

Description

Naza Automotive Manufacturing Sdn Bhd (NAM), located in Gurun, Kedah, comprises of an assembly plant, two-storey office, a test track, lots for vendors and suppliers, staff accommodation and recreation facilities on a 140-acre parcel of land.

While NAM's operations in Gurun officially began in May 2004, the company itself traces its roots to the 'look east' policy that was began by former Prime Minister, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohammad almost three decades ago. At that time, many students and engineers were sent to Japan and Korea to pursue higher education, technical know-how in various industries including the automotive industry and to incorporate the Japanese and Korean labour ethics and discipline.

The assembly facility in NAM incorporates areas designated for body welding, painting (fully automated), assembly and pre-delivery inspection of the units and accessories. There is also a test and simulation track which includes equipment used to assess the performance, endurance and quality of each of unit rolled out.

Apart from that, the needs of the staff are well taken care of with housing and other infrastructural and recreational amenities available.
