- - Operates various conventional sheet metal shop equipment such as Lasers and Turret including setup and tooling loading to produce and detail a variety of small, medium and large parts, ranging from simple to complex, which are within prescribed tolerances.
- Operates Computer Numerical Control (CNC) on respective equipment including AMADA and Trumpf.
- Performs machine set-ups, adjusting and loading tooling, and making changes at the controls for parts as required for specifications set forth in blueprints, drawings, engineering orders, etc.
- Checks parts for conformance to prescribed tolerances.
- Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions using 5S and other machinery used in the production process, or assist other machine operators.
- Select and set up lenses based on material type and thickness, load programs and set machine parameters to ensure optimal performance of the equipment.
- To distinguish material types including Aluminium, Steel, Stainless Steel, Copper and Brass.
- Knowledge about shield gases used during laser cutting operation.
- Monitor fill level of bulk tank system and report reordering levels to the supervisor.
- Lift raw materials, final products, and items packed for shipment, manually, or using hoist.
- Operate machinery used in the production process, or assist machine operators. - Requirements :
- - Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Metal Fabrication/Tool & Die/Welding) or equivalent.
- At least 1 - 2 Year(s) of working experience in Sheet Metal Manufacturing Experience on Trumpf, Amada or similar CNC laser cutting machines (TruDisk/TruFlow preferred).
- Preferably Non-Executive specialized in Engineering - Mechanical/Automotive or equivalent - Lowest Qualification :
