Description :: - Perform supplier selection, audit and qualification;
- Manage and review suppliers’ performance based on quality, delivery performance, cost and allocation;
- Approve suppliers through vendor quality audit, First Article evaluation or customer authorization;
- Keep abreast of manufacturing technology updates, Industrial benchmark and do cost competitive studies;
- Forecast World Wide commodity requirements;
- Develop commodity strategies and a preferred world-class supplier base;
- Performs supplier risk analysis and recommend alternate sources;
- Manage plastic, die-cut, electro-mechanical, sub-assemblies and tooling development;
- Develop cost reduction plans and drive quarterly supplier price negotiation;
- Support new project introduction, parts and tooling qualifications and development;
- Assist in assurance of parts, issues resolution returns and reject analysis;
- Develops commodity strategy and business plan;
- Negotiate terms and conditions with Vendors;
- Propose supplier cost and allocation;
- Perform any other duties as assigned by Company.
Requirements :: - Qualification Diploma / Degree in Mechanical or Electronic engineering field;
- Minimum 3's experience years of involvement in Sheet Metal / Plastic Injection Mould / Die - Cast / Machining field or equivalent;
- Preferable on candidate who are current job function of Procurement / Purchasing / Process / Engineering are welcome to apply;
- Knowledge of tooling and parts fabrication, and its qualification process;
- Team player who is self-motivated and dynamic;
- Strong project management and analytical problem-solving skills;
- Required language(s): English and Bahasa Malaysia;
- Applicants should be Malaysian citizens and willing to work in Johor Bahru.
