Description :: - Provide design input and cost effective solutions
- Manage and brief design teams including the management of any third parties to ensure that they meet client specifications and project design schedule
- Check the competence and resources of design teams
- Provide input and guidance on the buildability of design proposals to the design and construction teams on all packages
- Lead the coordination and production of design input, RFI resolution, potential variation reports and documentation essential to the project and contractual requirements
- Main link between the project management team and several designs and production team in the designated design centres
Requirements :: - Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in unitized, glass wall and façade stick system curtain wall design
- Ability to hand sketch proposals for discussion
- Knowledge of façade design principles such as pressure equalization, drained joint theory and rain-screen principles
- Experience in operable elements such as windows and doors, hardware selection, design and engineering, assembly and installation methods
- Practical experience in curtainwall production activities including fabrication and assembly of curtainwall panels
- Basic structural engineering knowledge
- Flexible schedule and willing to work at project site when required
Technical Skill:
- 2D and 3D design software including but not limited to AutoCAD and CATIA
- Other relevant computer software such as Rhinoceros, Revit, Inventor and GSA
- Microsoft Office
