Description :: - To in-charge of the overall Production operation including but not limited to manpower planning, process control and in-process quality control in achieving production and quality targets.
- To ensure that Production target is achieved, controlled and reported periodically.
- To responsible for equipment and machinery maintenance and efficiency as well as planning for preventive maintenance in order to minimize production downtime.
- To optimize all available resources such as manpower, material, and equipment to ensure production volume, costs, scrap, and inventory meet the production plan.
- To ensure production effectiveness and efficiency through studying of process cycle time, implementation of standard operating procedures, process improvement plans, work methods, performance and measurement systems etc.
- To direct, control and motivate subordinates as well as provide training or take necessary discipline action in order to ensure high work performance.
- To support in new products introductions, test run and management of jigs and fixtures.
- To maintain high level of safety and housekeeping standard in accordance with the prevailing company and government regulations.
- To be responsible for any other production and maintenance related projects and assignments.
Requirements :: - Diploma / Degree in Manufacturing Management, Mechanical / Mechatronic Engineering, Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of working experience in similar capacity with solid hands-on supervisory experiences in handling big group of subordinates, including foreign workers.
- Computer literate, able to operate Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills and familiar with statistical tools.
- Self-motivated, with ability to work independently and in teams.
- Fluent in Chinese, English and Bahasa Malaysia with good interpersonal skills.
