- - Overall responsible for the QA & Technical Department.
- Work closely with the Factory Manager on new product development and product quality improvement.
- Review periodically QA procedures and make changes, if necessary, to solve quality problems.
- Review and revise the KPIs of quality assurance to ensure its effectiveness.
- Recruit, guide, train and motivate subordinates to ensure that they perform their tasks satisfactorily.
- Carry out regular inspection and testing of all incoming raw materials and check on moisture content for wooden component, work in progress and quality/size of finished goods and establish related report on quality to the Management.
- Work closely with internal customers and suppliers to resolve quality problems and take preventive actions to overcome them.
- Conduct audit and inspection on the products and factories of our suppliers of outsourced products.
- Organize the Quarterly Quality Meeting and take actions, if any, that arise from the meeting.
- Attend to external customers’ complaints quickly, take actions to resolve them quickly and take preventive actions, if necessary.
- Conduct a quarterly review of the product quality issues and take actions to prevent, if necessary, major quality issues from happening.
- Keep track/update product specifications for retail market and institutional products and models and send to Factory Manager for approval.
- Perform work from time to time that is instructed by the immediate superior or above. - Requirements :
- - Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Chemical), Engineering (Industrial), Engineering (Material Science), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Others) or equivalent.
- At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Preferably Manager specialized in Quality Control/Assurance or equivalent. - Lowest Qualification :
