- - Maintain a safe working environment by working in accordance with company work practices and

- Compliance with safety and environmental regulations and/or codes of practice or standards applicable to the industry, eliminating any non-conformanace.
- Maximise the resources of the engineering / maintenance department to obtain optimum productivity.
- Maximise the effectiveness of plant and equipment maintenance programs to ensure plant and equipment performance supports the production schedule.
- Ensure that appropriate engineering, legislative and safety standards are maintained on all work undertaken and/or controlled by the department.
- Assist in preparation of capital expenditure applications and ensure capital works for plant expansion and improvements are development in accordance with corporate objectives and completed to agreed standards of costs, time and quality - Requirements :
- - Relevant engineering degree (Mechanical/Mechatronics).
- At least 15 years proven experience in management of projects and management of engineering and maintenance in a manufacturing plant.
- Proven people management skills.
- Understanding of local HSE regulations and good English communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills at all levels, ability to motivate others to achieve agreed goals, ability to communicate at all levels verbally and in writing, commercial awareness, leadership and decisiveness.
- Applicants with Energy Manager certification from Suruhanjaya Tenaga will be added advantage.
- Applicants must be willing to work in Merlimau. - Lowest Qualification :
