Description :: - To ensure the company comply with all Occupational Safety & Health Act and any other statutory & legal requirements at all times.
- Work closely with local statutory bodies (DOSH, NIOSH, BOMBA, etc) to ensure compliance and update OSH related issues.
- Proactive maintenance and improvement of accidents management procedures to prevent and avoid injuries.
- This includes evaluation of incidents, as well as implementation and thorough documentation of respective corrective measures.
- Improve, update and maintain formal documentations and records of health compliance procedure, as well as database for records of accidents and violations.
- Ensure that all accident reports are recorded completely in a timely and accurate manner
- Identify hazard and potential risks and recommend practical and cost effective solutions in safety management.
- Develop accurate OSH reports and maintain relevant safety records.
- Develop and conduct training and enforcement of all safety programs.
Requirements :: - Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering
(Environmental/Health/Safety), Science & Technology or equivalent.
- Minimum 4-5 years relevant working experience in related field and registered Safety & Health
- Officer with Valid JKKP Green Book
- In depth knowledge of regulatory legislation (e.g. OSHA, FMA, EQA…) and procedures
- Hands on experience in manufacturing environment, preferbly in Electrical Industry
- Experience in writing reports and policies for health and safety
- Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics
- Outstanding organizational skills, diligent with great attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and explain health and safety topics
- Good communication, interpersonal skills & computer literate
- Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
- Applicants must be willing to work in Shah Alam.
