Description :: MAIN OBJECTIVES :
 Lead the D&D Mechatronics Design Engineer team.
 Perform technical analysis and risk assessment of design concepts in compliance with the specification.
 To guide and develop D&D Mechatronics Design Engineers towards excellence and completing complex designs and calculations.

RESPONSIBILITIES :
 Lead and coordinate the activities of D&D Mechatronics Design Engineers.
 Review and verify the technical solutions are within compliance to the specifications, cost and lead-time of the project.
 Participate in brainstorming, design review & DFMEA sessions.
 Provide expertise support to Mechatronics Engineers.
 Drive continuous improvement in design process, concept, rules and templates.
 Coordinate with other departments to achieve optimum operational process.
 Any tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements ::  Experienced in 2D and 3D CAD applications.
 Effective verbal and written communication skills, able to clearly convey information and ideas.
 Advanced knowledge on different machining process, fabrication materials and treatements selections and standard electro-mechanical parts.
 Understanding of DFMEA, DOE, and risk assessment.
 Excellent time management and planning skills.
 Experienced in automation, mechatronics design engineering and electro-pneumatic applications.
 Strong commitment to learning and continuous improvement.
 Willing to travel for about 30% of the time to supplier or customer (local/oversea).
 Diplomatic, patience and good listening skills.
 Creative, inovative, out of the box problem solving.
 Good statistical and technical writing abilities.
