- - Assist in managing projects through good knowledge of engineering requirements, adherence to specifications and effective coordination with all parties to ensure quality and timely completion of the project.
- Be responsible and accountable as a team member for the effective and efficient project management including supervision of works.
- Assist the Project Manager in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, to the satisfaction of the clients, in compliance to statutory requirements, technical specification and engineering practices.
- Perform engineering tasks including checking contractor's detailed design to compliance, site works supervision, process and verify payment certificates, testing, commissioning and handing over the project.
- Assist in coordinating and controlling / monitoring project activities to ensure objectives are achieved, including liaison with contractors and external clients and internal team members.
- Assist in conducting project site meeting including keeping records, drawings, minutes etc. and prepare project progress report - Requirements :
- Requirements
- Basic understanding of engineering calculations, design and engineering drawings
- Experience in power utility industries
- Must possess the ability to read and interpret drawings/specifications, technical writing and organizational skills
- Basic project experience including budget and team responsibilities
- Proficiency in Ms Word, Ms Excel, Ms Project and AutoCad
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years experience in related field.

Project & Programme Matters Sdn Bhd (PPM) was formed in 2013 to work with clients in the conceptualization, definition and delivery of their projects and programmes.
We are based in Kuching but we have projects across Sarawak and Malaysia. We operate in different sectors, including power generation, utility, mixed-development, high-tech manufacturing, etc.
PPM is partly owned by KTA (Sarawak) Sdn Bhd, one of Malaysia’s largest engineering consultancies. KTA (Sarawak)’s technical know-how and enviable track record in the region will be leveraged to our client’s benefit.
