- - Responsible overall in all aspects pertaining the planning, controlling and coordinating in project basis, operation and preventive maintenance of Press Section.
- The responsibilities inclusive of but not limited to the following core duties:-
- To ensure efficient strategies meet the department goals and standards at minimal manufacturing costs.
- Coordinating and ensuring maintenance action plans.
- Responsible for planning, monitoring and ensuring all the spare parts are in good condition and availability.
- Responsible to strengthening and energizing teams via employee engagement activities.
- Controls, coordinates and organizes action plans for preventive maintenance for daily production, new projects, machines upgrading etc.
- Organizes and plans for the department monthly roster.
- Reviews department schedule specifications, orders, and related information to obtain knowledge of manufacturing methods, procedures, and activities
- Monitors and expedites for department operations and project basis to determine worker/ team members’ work hours, tooling and allocation of duties
- Checks and ensures the effectiveness and efficiencies for preventive maintenance schedules given by Sr Technicians/ Technicians and Operators are carried out accordingly.
- Captures and reports all the downtime causes by Press Section and actions taken to reduce breakdown.
- Liaises and follow-up with other sections/ departments, vendors, management regarding purchases, product and production specifications, manufacturing capabilities, or project status.
- Ensures spare parts are sufficient at all times in the store. - Requirements :
- - Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical)/ Manufacturing Management/ Production Operation or equivalent.
- At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the Press area. Those from ceramic industry is an added advantage.
- Demonstrate strong LEADERSHIP and a good TEAM PLAYER.
- Willing to work longer hours and off days, if necesary, to meet the work assignment and deadlines.
- Willing to work in Senawang - Lowest Qualification :
