- - Spearhead LEAN deployment
- Resource and budget planning for LEAN initiatives
- Define qualitative/quantitative goals of continuous improvement initiatives
- Strategize and promote LEAN culture deployment program
- Drive value stream mapping, standardization and alignment of manufacturing processes
- Lead and motivate IE team in meeting IE goals and objectives
- Sets strategic direction as required by working with R&D, Marketing and other Functions and Departments.
- Establishes quality, cost, and delivery objectives that support the Division goals.
- Develops and manages programs to meet these objectives.
- Defines and implements methods for measuring performance.
- Works with other Functions and Departments as required to ensure success.
- In conjunction with Planning, establishes production and/or shipping targets.

- Shares with R&D and Marketing the responsibility to ensure successful (short time to market, manufacturable, reliable, and supportable) new product introductions.
- Resolves product issues with S&M/R&D which inhibit manufacturing ability to meet high volume requirements.
- Works with QA to institute proper quality monitoring and resolve customer issues/ returns.

- Leads the organization to ensure that decisions are made at the lowest appropriate level.

- Evaluates department performance through the collection and analysis of benchmarking data.

- Recruits, selects, trains, appraises performance, and administer salaries of reporting employees; determines assignments and changes employees status in
accordance with Lumileds policy.
- Establishes and manages budgets and targets for assigned area of responsibility.
- Plans, develops and implements affirmative action staffing goals in accordance with Lumileds policy.
- Quantities of goods and materials must be tracked at all times.
- The physical location, quantity of goods and material must be determined within 3 hours.
- Responsible for ensuring accurate Inventory accounting in Raw materials, WIP and FGI and accurate representation in the inventory management system.

- Requirements :
- - Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
- At least 10 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position from semiconductor environment.
Completion of courses appropriates to the development of leadership, communication and analytical skills that reinforce the Lumileds attitudes, Corporate
- Objectives and strategies and practices.
- Demonstrated ability to lead people and work effectively with other departments. Proficient in the application of the systematic process/project improvement
