- Assists with the implementation of Lean Manufacturing goals and strategies for improving the operations and processes within the organization.
Evaluates all continuous improvement activities and implements plans to optimize performance and processes.
Employs Lean methodologies and tools in order to accomplish business objectives.
Typically requires a bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of experience in a process improvement function.
Also requires training and Lean certification through an accredited organization. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks.
Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
To understand Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 section 24: General duties of employ - Requirements :
- Minimum Bachelor Degree in Engineering/Industrial or relevant background
Green belt/Black belt holder, certified in six sigma
Have minimum 5 years experience in lean/process engineering
Have experience in handling project related to continous improvement, kaizen project, lean , etc.
Can work independently
Strong character and people oriented.
