- •Lead the setup and installation of an in-house, state-of-the-art, accredited EMC laboratory
•Provide electrical analysis and test expertise on an ongoing basis to design engineers
•Provide EMC and RF design expertise and consulting to help engineers design to meet product EMC specifications and requirements
•Evaluate products to ensure compliance with Bose, regulatory and customer specifications
•Participate in critical PCB and schematic design reviews and conduct extensive EMC testing at multiple stages during product development
•Perform root-cause analysis of EMC failures found during development and provide solutions
•Generate regulatory compliance reports
•Create EMC verification plans and provide regular project status updates
•Develop improvements to existing test methods and lab processes and devise new test methods
• Author design standards and written procedures where necessary - Requirements :
- •Experience – Min 6 years of EMC, RF and analog experience in design and development
•Solid background in EMC testing, analysis and troubleshooting
•Strong knowledge of industry and regulatory EMC standards
•Excellent abilities in general engineering, math and problem solving
•Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook applications
•Must be proactive and able to work independently
•Ability to effectively collaborate across organizations
•Experience with consumer electronics is highly desirable
•Additional experience with modeling software, DSP or acoustics a plus
•Fluency in English required – strong verbal and written communications
•Flexibility to work in a new and growing environment including the skills to establish new test capabilities - Lowest Qualification :
