Description :: • To maintain close and regular relation with regulatory/advisory/statutory bodies related to safety, health and environment.
• To plan, coordinate and perform hazard identification, risk assessment and determining control at workplace and make recommendation to improve the condition.
• To perform environmental aspect impact assessment at workplace and make recommendation to improve the condition.
• To formulate and execute management and operational policies and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy workplace.
• To promote awareness among employees on the requirements of laws and procedures pertaining to safety, health and environment performance.
• Conduct regular inspections, stop and correct any safety violations and unsafe behavior, including equipment maintenance issues.
• Preparation of projects’ schedule and resource allocation/ planning
• Preparation of reports and take off quantities for projects.
• Accountable for effective co-ordination of projects as assigned.
• Ensure all safety and quality assurance procedures and standards are followed.
• Must be able to comprehend construction drawings, project specifications and co-ordinate with clients, consultants as well as project team to achieve desired results.
Requirements :: • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree, Professional Degree in Environmental/ Health/ Safety/ Civil Engineering
• At least 5 years working experience in related field
• Civil structural and building maintenance management skills.
• Experienced in demonstrated building, electrical, and/ or mechanical design skills.
• Experienced in AutoCAD skills and proven ability to generate accurate, highly-detailed construction drawings.
• Good familiarity with construction and electrical codes and analytical skills.
• Possess the following certificate and certified as competent person is an added advantage:
o Safety and Health Officer (SHO)
o Radiation Protection Officer (RPO)
o Certified Environmental Professional In The Operation Of Industrial Effluent Treatment Systems (Physical Chemical Processes) (CePIETSO)
o Certified Environmental Professional in Scheduled Waste Management ( CePSWaM)
o Licenses Suruhanjaya Tenaga or A4 Chargeman Certificate
o ISO14001 and OHSAS 18001 Auditor
o ISO5001, ISO 14001 and LOTO management
• At least 5 years working experience in related field
• Ability to work in a team environment with a customer service focus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills required
• Can start work immediately
