Description :: - Inspect all scaffolds erected within the boundaries of Project construction sites and yards to ensure they are suitable for safe use, and comply with the relevant industrial standards, and Company permit to work procedures.
- Ensure that the Contractor maintain a record of the condition of all scaffolding materials and assemblies to ensure that they are maintained correctly and dispose of the damaged or defective materials
- Provides technical advice on scaffolding works and participate in work requiring higher level skills
- Overseeing the erection of the scaffold
- Training of other competent persons, scaffold erectors, and users.
- Provide advice on the suitability of specialized scaffolds supplied by contracting companies to meet the health and safety requirements of Company, with regard to design and access in case of plant upset conditions
- Ensure awareness of and compliance with HSE rules and regulations by subordinates and contractors
Requirements :: -The applicant shall hold a scaffolding competency certificate of Level 3 and be able to drawing the sketches for scaffolding
erection independently and be experienced in the construction industry and be a good team player.
- Must follow the instruction from his team leaders.
- fluent in Malay, English and Mandarin
- Holding a required certificate issued by a local authority shall be a must and a pre-condition.
