- - Responsible for controlling and development of the welding engineering within the range of the manufacturing of pipes.
- Optimises the welding process and introduces procedure improvements in the welding technology.
- Assisting the welding engineering team supervises the technical execution of the welding processes in the manufacturing.
- Responsible and reliable to evaluate the manpower competency and send for training whenever necessary to meet the standards and norm for the product quality.
- Responsible for determination of welding method examinations and qualifying measures for the welding personnel.
- Continuously improvement by adapting and adjusting the production process run with authorized personnel in the Company.
- Control of sub-ordinate discipline and have a basic knowledge in training.
- Evaluation of customer specifications, discuss regarding the technical requirements and presentation to customer for elaboration of the technical documentations.
- Adaptation and adjustment regarding sales objective, supply and delivery, productivity, quality and costs with equivalent and higher authorities
- Cooperation and support in the selection of technical welding facilities
- Support of the quality assurance
- Part of the welding engineering team and responsible for the results of the working personnel and the observance of rules and legal regulations of the welding engineering technology. - Requirements :
- - Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Mechanical Engineering (major in Welding) or equivalent.
- Practical experiences in the welding engineering, in particular in the procedures SAW 121, GTAW 141, GMAW 135, FCAW 136 and SMAW 111 according to EN ISO 4063 will be an added advantage.
- Experience with the welding of steel grades STE 355-690, API X52-X80 and WB36 will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of the regulations API 2B, API 5L, ASME and ASTM will be an added advantage.
- Basic knowledge of the standards of quality assurance (EN ISO 9001, EN 720) will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge in destructive and non destructive material testing
- EDP knowledge
- Excellent written and command in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Applicants must be willing to work in Tanjung Langsat,Pasir Gudang.
- Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Engineering - Others or equivalent.
- Full-Time position available.
