Description :: 1. To develop safety & health programme to instill safety awareness in the plants, sites and offices and to assist the employer in organizing all programmes on occupational safety and health at the place of work.
2. To review and assist in the implementation of in-house safety programs and action plans.
3. To conduct inspection to ensure compliance to HSE standards government laws and
regulations and good industrial health practice.
4. To investigate into every fatal accident and dangerous occurrence which took place within the place of work.
5. To participate in any inspection of the place of work carried out by the management for the purpose of assessing the efficiency of any measures taken in compliance with OSHA 1994 & FMA 1967.
6. To maintain statistics on industrial accident, diseases and dangerous occurrence at the place of work.
7. To liaise with the government departments and agencies, especially the enforcement
8. department such as Department of Environment and Department of Occupational Safety and Health in carrying out the duties under the relevant government legislation.
9. To handle maintenance of office and factory.
10. To handle security guard attendance, duty roaster, etc.
11. To carry out any other duties and responsibilities given by superior.
Requirements :: 1. Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma,Professional Degree, Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety) or equivalent.
3. Required skill(s): computer literate, scheduled waste management, Environmental Management.
4. Ability to plan, organizes available resources & communicate with all level of employees.
5. Fast learner and with conceptual thinking ability.
6. Analytical, proactive, detail oriental and can work independently with minimum supervision.
7. Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, Chinese, English
8. At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
9. Applicants must be willing to work in Nibong Tebal.
10. Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Engineering - Environmental/Health/Safety or equivalent.
