Description :: • Responsible for the planning, organizing and direct engineering operation to meet company objectives.
• Participate in the continuous improvement activities such as the designing, new product development and improvement of existing product lines to achieve production effectiveness.
• Manage all engineering functions and activities of technical staff to maintain timely and complete processing of projects and daily problem solving activities.
• Ensure technical employees adhere to the safety and regulatory guidelines in accordance to the company policies.
• Develop, train and supervise subordinates to ensure staffs are updated on the work policies and procedures.
• Review operations and plans to meet sales planning requirements to ascertain engineering requirements for developing new markets.
Requirements :: • Possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related fields in the manufacturing industry.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in the Engineering field with minimum 5 years' experience in a managerial position.
• Must have knowledge in DOE, Injection Moulding and finishing.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem solving skills and analytical skills.
• Effective skills and ability to multi-task with attention to detail.
• Possess effective communication skills in English to liaise with plant employees, staff management and customer representatives.
• Knowledge of ISO standards is a must.
• Able to work independently and under pressure with good organization and management abilities.
