- • As the Research Analyst within the Global IT Architecture organization, candidate will work collaboratively with a team of architects responsible for developing and evolving enterprise architecture for Seagate, creating and managing business, information, application and technology strategy, models and standards; exploring, accessing, and piloting new technologies and frameworks so as to optimize capabilities, processes and deliveries to meet business objectives.
• Candidate will work under the mentorship and direction of senior architects.
• Candidate will analyze industry macro trends, technology directions, vendor product development strategy, software and hardware solutions viability. Candidate will gather, synthesize and interpret data using architecture principles, practices and methodology. Candidate will write and publish reports for communication to stakeholders of Global IT Architecture.
• Candidate will support senior architects and participate in architectural analysis, identify issues and provide solutions to the business problems.
• Candidate will document and maintain architecture models and metadata and artifacts, insuring correct and up-to-date information recorded on Enterprise Architecture Governance and Standards.
• Candidate will participate in proof of concept exercises to support technology validation, perform software or hardware assessments, and report on findings and recommendations.

- • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent.
• At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Strong interest in technology (tech-savvy)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical skill with ability to conceptualize, ability to synthesize mass amount of data into key insights using factual and quantitative analysis. Attention to detail.
• Problem solving ability
• Fluency with PC or PC tools literacy or demonstrated aptitude to learn quickly
• Strong interpersonal skill, ability to work well with diverse constituents, teamplayer
