Description :: To lead the team in project improvement, and to manage the timeline and progress of each project to meet the target timeline. Solve issues faced with existing products and processes and find out root causes and take necessary actions. Processes involve will be on plastic injection molding (including testing resin & pigment), printing, assembling and packaging.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Primary duties: (Approximately 70 to 80% of daily work schedule)
• Conduct preliminary studies (such as PFMEA, 5 whys..etc) of rejects from NCRs and yield rate of existing products.
• Testing and analyzing relevant components (chemical/ink/refill/tip/yarn etc) for existing product
• Analyze & investigate problem arising from production due to functional issues or customer complaints.
• Make improvements to the product or processes that improves yield rate of the production.
• Issue Memo, DCN & ECN information after acceptance and update into quality
control documents.
• Maintain and update changes to testing procedures and quality document (e.g.: specification).
• Liaise with vendor / supplier as and when required
• Supervise and guide his/ her subordinates.
• Ensure the duties of his/ her subordinates are properly done.

Secondary duties: (Approximately 20 to 30% of daily work schedule)
• Follow up all abnormal cases.
• Provide on-job training to new staffs.
• Perform other related duties as required.
Requirements :: • Preferably Master Degree in Engineering Mechanical, Engineering Industry, Chemistry or relevant field.
• Preferably candidate with more than 5 years’ experience in Research and Development with managerial experience in Plastic Injection moulding industry or Chemical related industry.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good project and people management skills
• Good in root cause analysis
• Fluent in speaking and writing both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Ability to handle and resolve recurring problems.
• Possess knowledge of chemistry.
• Competent in Research and Analytical work and able to lead the entire team to achieve higher goal.
