Description :: OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY/JOB PURPOSE:
Responsible for delivering data analysis and completed data maps within established SLAs. Works closely with the Supplier Implementation and Support teams to ensure resulting Supplier profiles are accurate and complete.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS:

Create new Supplier maps, using in-house tools, based on provided data samples and specifications.

Update and rework Supplier maps as a result of changes in the Supplier, Buyer, Fiscal or System requirements

Provide second-line support for customer issues involving Supplier maps.

Specify and document pre-processor requirements

Test pre-processors

Create pre-processors according to specifications provided and to ensure these adhere to current standards

Ensure correct version control applied and documented to all maps and pre-processors

Create and maintain mapping documentation for communication to other mappers and departments

Assist Support and Supplier Implementation through the provision of analysis and technical advice regarding Supplier profiles and data.

Build effective working relationships with all members and in particular those of the Support and Supplier Implementation teams

Report any technical, fiscal or other concerns in a timely manner

Meet target dates and accuracy levels as per agreed-upon service levels, key performance indicators, and best practices.

Assist with creating a Supplier mapping knowledge base to include master maps and training material for other colleagues

Assist with development of new projects planned as part of the system

Requirements :: KNOWLEDGE:
• Excellent user of Microsoft Packages-especially Excel
• Knowledge of invoicing or accounting systems preferred
• Perl or similar programming language
• Data file formats e.g. EDI, XML, ANSI

• Ability to work on own initiative

• Fluency in English
• Fluency in additional language(s) (desirable)

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/ Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent

EXPERIENCE:
• Experience in data mapping or accounts payable/finance processes
• Experience in accounting systems/Excel/Perl/EDI/XML/ANSI would be an advantage
