Description :: Primary Job Scope:
- Provides 1st level and/or 2nd level remote technical service and support to our international customers (technical solution and acceptance).
- Maintain known issues and resolution into BASS Support’s Knowledge Base
- Provide timely support status reports to BASS customers
- To liaise with R&D for patch release and verify the patch before release to customer
Secondary Job scope:
- Patch Kit Release
- Major Version Upgrade
- Customer vessel installation phone support
- Prepare documentation for the Installation Guide & Installation Checklist.
- To maintain a professional and proactive approach in meeting customer needs and expectations as to achieve maximum customer satisfaction.
Requirements :: - Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent
- Experience with installing and configuring Oracle or MS SQL Server and database SQL knowledge.
- Strong customers focus with at least 2 – 3 years’ experience in customer service and support field.
- Willingness to be on standby 24 X 7 basis
- Overseas traveling is mandatory
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Knowledge from ERP, Accounting/Financial software, shipping/ the maritime industry would be an advantage or have been involved in IT Support for maritime industry or maritime system roll out
- Software development is not a mandatory responsibility of this position, however, programming experience of .NET would be an advantage
- Application is strictly for Malaysians or Filipino who are residing in the respective country.
