Description :: - Serve as a major contributor in team based research and development environment.
- Take initiative in creating novel technical approaches to achieve business objectives.
- Work on various phases of UNIX or Windows systems, including software analysis, programming, installation, maintenance, testing and debugging.
- Research and develop continuous enhancements cloud technology through data analysis and collaboration.
- Work closely with Development Engineering and QA to create new products and features from research deliverables.
- Evaluate and perform design tradeoffs regarding the architecture and software and system components
- Recommend optimal deployment scenarios to achieve best performance.
Requirements :: - BS in Computer Science or related field and 5 years’ experience --OR
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field and 5 years’ experience – OR Ph.D. in Computer Science
- Strong knowledge in internet based technology.
- Advantageous to possess skills in Java, UNIX shell scripting, websphere, Python and Perl.
- Added advantage if candidate possesses exposure in virtual machine deployment.
- Proficient in UNIX/Linux or Microsoft Windows tools and utilities
- Experience in evaluating designs, documenting, installing, testing, implementing, monitoring and maintaining complex systems and applications.
- Previous participation in the full life cycle of a large project: design, implementation, testing, deployment and maintenance
- Strong teamwork skills
- Excellent communication skills
