Description :: - Evaluate and manage Business Intelligence (BI) projects and enhancements for all phases of development - requirements capturing, design, development to implementation.
- Produce ETL design guidelines to ensure a manageable ETL infrastructure for the BI system
- Performance-tune these applications as necessary
- Have extensive experience in the design and development of OLAP functionality.
- Be proficient with the IBM Cognos v8 development tool suite
- Capable of developing OLAP cubes, frameworks and reports.
- Be proficient with SQL

- Strong ability of problem solving skills.
- Good conceptual skills, resourceful and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as be a team player, who able to work well with functional consultant, project manager, and clients.
- Committed and able to work under pressure to meet assignment deadline.
Requirements :: - Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Management Informative System or equivalent.
- At least 4 year(s) of working experience in implementing and maintaining the relevant Business Intelligence (BI) or Performance Management (PM) SDLC type of project experience.
- Proficient in RDBMS and full knowledge of SQL, including programming and ways to optimize SQL code, Microsoft SQL server, Visual SQL are a must.
- In depth experience in Data Warehousing data population techniques for target structures such as Star Schemas, Snowflake Schemas, and highly normalized data models
- Hands on knowledge in data integration tools and techniques such as ETL (Extract Transform Load) and CDC (Change Data Capture)
- Experience with Metadata tools (IBM metadata server, metadata workbench, business glossary)
- Working experience in DataStage v8.0 and above will be added advantage.
- Knowledgeable in VBA/VB programming.
