Description :: Responsible for maintaining the network that allow the organization to function and communicate, both internally and externally, on a
daily basis.
Tasks may include upgrading the company’s communications infrastructure or installing a new system.
Establishes networking environment by designing, configuration, system installation, defining, documenting and enforcing system
standards.
Maximizes network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades,
work and support with the regional team on network optimization, deployment, and documentation.
Secures network system by establishing and enforcing polices, defining and monitoring access.
Develop, review and maintain securityrelated policies, standards and procedures
Plan, coordinate and implement information security measures and procedures
Ensure compliance to established policies and procedures
Establish and review security baselines and controls for various platforms
To monitor usage of sensitive Ids, sensitive command & security breaches on the AS/400 computer
Requirements :: Degree/Higher Diploma in IT or equivalent field
Minimum 1 year of experience in System Administration of server and related hardware and software
Work experience on one or more of the following O/S platforms/databases; Windows Server 2012, AS400, Unix (Solaris/Linux), JDE,
MSSQL, Cisco, Fortinet , Huawei, router, switches, wireless, firewall ISA/TMG and VPN IPsec will be an added advantage
Knowledge of the network types (LAN, WAN, Wireless, VPN IPsec, GRE, OSPF, and Linux IPtables)
Knowledge of working experience in storage and System design in a Windows / Linux.
Good spoken and written English and the ability to communicate well at all levels
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Good at problem solving and multitasking
Both senior and junior position(s) available.
