- •Plan, design, develop and maintain an in-house developed ERP based on defined AS400 coding methodology
•Ensure the performance and reliability of the AS400’s applications and other IT systems
•Understand the various business processes and give suggestions on how to improve the processes thru the AS400
•Interact with various users to determine requirements, develop business flows, and resolve problems related to the ERP
•Provide recommendations for new technology and equipment
•Develop and maintain adequate business system back up strategy
•Develop and maintain DR strategy
- Requirements :
- •Higher Diploma, Associate Degree or Degree holder with major in Computer Science or related disciplines
•Strong knowledge of COBOL(LE), CL and SQL are necessary
•Knowledge of RPG is an advantage
•Strong knowledge of IBM (AS/400, iSeries or i5) Computer Hardware and Software
•At least 5 years relevant working experience of ERP Manufacturing and Financial Systems
•Working knowledge of concepts related to general accounting, inventory, treasury and GST
•Excellent problem solving skills with a positive mindset
•Self-motivated, independent and a fast learner
•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
•Full-time position based in the KL office
