- 1. Install, configure, migrate, upgrade and maintain multiple databases required for development, testing and production.
2. Enforce database change management, security standards and best practices.
3. Design and maintain backup and data archiving plan for all databases in company
4. Design and prepare for Disaster Recovery and perform test on recovery plan.
5. Responsible for database design, stored procedure creation for front end application
6. Support departmental operations in a high throughput production environment by proactively managing the performance, Integrity, and security of business applications
databases and database servers.
7. Support application development in technical troubleshooting, database tuning and performance monitoring
8. Provide support to software developer in best practices for database design, programming, and tuning.
- Requirements :
- 1. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related
2. 4- 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position
3. Experience in MSSQL database administration in production environment
4. Experience with MS SQL Server business intelligence stack: Integration Services,
5. ETL/OLAP/Analysis Services and Reporting Services
6. Hands-on experience in capacity planning and performance tuning
7. Knowledge of SQL server backup and restore strategies
8. Strong analytical, problem solving and process, solution oriented abilities
9. Strategic thinker with a positive attitude, proactive and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
10. Worked well as team player
