Description :: 1. Work within a development team to produce application code, meeting the specification provided.
2. Responsible for preparing Technical Design Specification document.
3. Design, codes, tests, debugs and document IT Application according to Teleplan’s standard.
4. Assist Business Analysts in developing Functional Specifications, and in defining enhancements for applications.
5. Investigate and apply fixes to rectify system bugs.
6. Perform unit testing on code developed; participate in code reviews, and undertake testing of code developed by others.
7. Develop applications using the tools specified, to optimally run on the databases prescribed.
8. E.g. C#.NET and Oracle DBMS.
9. Follow development and coding standards and guidelines.
10. Provide direct end user support and system training, as required.
11. Adhere to IT processes, including issue tracking, and report time spent as requested.
12. May need to be available ‘out of hours’ to support operations and/or specific customer demands.
13. Ensure code is managed within the central repository, and correctly versioned. (e.g. SVN)
14. Review, and provide feedback on functional and detailed specifications. Commit to schedule as appropriate.
15. Assist other members of the team, in meeting their objectives.
Requirements :: 1. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information
2. Technology or equivalent.
3. At least 2 years of working experience in in IT preferable as support analyst/specialist/developer.
4. Applicant must be willing to travel from Teleplan’s site to site.
5. Excellent customer service skills.
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
7. Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL & Crystal Report are added advantages.
8. Having an excellent knowledge of how the various IT systems operate and interact with each other and knowing their capabilities and limitations
