- - Main roles are administration and monitoring of the Oracle SOA Suite including middleware applications/tools such as Oracle Weblogic, Oracle Enterprise Manager Grid Control.
- Installation of Oracle SOA Suite components patches and upgrades running on Weblogic cluster.
- Provide integration support for Oracle SOA Suite running various versions and configurations.
- Troubleshooting/debugging faults in Composite Applications and communicate with developers towards a resolution.
- Stopping and starting server components in a clustered environment and maintain application servers to ensure consistent availability
- Making sure all components/services are monitored within the Oracle SOA Suite Domains with use of alerts in HPOV or available tools like Enterprise Manager 11g/12c.
- Deploying interfaces and composite applications.
- Backup and Recovery of SOA domain.
-Work independently, as well as in a team to resolve issues and to strengthen our support methods in a pro-active manner, in order to mitigate risks.
- Create scripts for automation, server maintenance and monitoring/alerts
- Handle day to day middleware related incident and change request tickets and subsequently submitting outage details, incident reports and root cause analysis.
- Advise project team / system administrator / application owners on middleware operation issues or all projects involving the middleware infrastructure
- Introduce new technology products to Seagate for increasing efficiency and handling larger business volume. Make IT infrastructure more agile and adaptable to support constantly changing business requirements. Act independently to determine methods and procedures on new or special assignments with minimum direct supervision
- Communicate horizontally and vertically on infrastructure health and enhancement progress - Requirements :
- - Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or related or its equivalent in education and experience plus 6-8 years of related experience. Master’s - Degree in above field with 4-6 years experience.
- 6-8 years of IT experience, out of which 1-2 years in Oracle SOA Suite.
- Direct experience working with large-scale enterprise infrastructures is a must.
- Knowledge of fundamental SOA technologies Web Services, SOAP, WSDL, XML, XSD, XSLT, XPath, XQuery, JMS.
- Implementation experience with one or more components in the Oracle Service Bus (OSB) and SOA Suite. The components include JDeveloper, Mediator Engine, BPM, BPEL, WSM, Business Rule Engine, Human Task Engine, Enterprise Manager and BAM.
- Knowledge of Oracle Service Bus (10g or 11g) or AL Service Bus.
- Experience with Fusion Middleware in Red Had Linux environment on VMWare
- In depth understanding of Unix (Solaris, Linux, AIX is preferred)
- Strong Oracle Weblogic Server Administration skills in clustered environments.
- Oracle Database with basic SQL and PL/SQL will be an advantage.
- Having wide-ranging experience in using professional concepts and keeping company objectives in mind to resolve complex issues.
- Understanding of Java, WLST and Ant is a plus.
- Good knowledge of network topologies.
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional team meetings.
- Experience with Tibco products (like RV, EMS, BW, ADB and Administrator) is a plus. - Lowest Qualification :
