- As department manager software you will lead our software department consisting of two teams with overall around 20 employees.Your engineers will work mainly on modern car multimedia systems such as Android based multimedia head units and classical car radios. You will report directly to the head of engineering and you will represent software related topics towards various internal and external stakeholders. You will define the structure and strategic direction of the software department, assign roles, responsibilities and tasks and do the resource and capacity planning for your teams. Furthermore, you will take care about the competence and skill development of your employees and you will make sure that the software department applies appropriate, modern, state-of-the art software engineering processes, methodologies and tools.You will be also responsible for selecting and managing 3rd party software component and software services suppliers.
- Requirements :
- -At least around 10 years of experiences in the area of software development with at least 3 years of leadership / management experiences
-Passionate about producing high-quality software according to automotive standards and passionate about motivating and managing software teams accordingly
-Excellent understanding of modern software engineering processes, methodologies and tools
-Programming knowledge based on past own experiences preferably in the area of embedded software
-Bright, highly self-motivated and self-driven personality
-Excellent communication, moderation and conflict resolution skils
-Knowledge in audio/sound is desirable
-Experience in agile SW development methodology is a plus
-Proficient in English language - Lowest Qualification :
