Description :: Manage small to medium scale projects.
- Manage and lead Team Leads and Senior Team Leads in carrying out the following:
- Software Definition
- Software Development
- Software Testing
- Software Deployment
- Post-deployment Application Support
- Responsible for project budget, collection, project P&L and people management.
- Ensure projects are delivered to the agreed quality, delivery date, and cost targets, meeting business objectives.
- Monitor, control and report on project progress, costs and development.
- Supervise assigned resources, provide technical advice and guidance, schedule assignments and training for development, prepare performance appraisals.
- Able to plan and allocate tasks and ensure sufficient resources for the allocated projects efficiently and effectively.
- Provide communication and liaison between cross-functional teams and organizations.
- Manage / organize training sessions.
- Manage / organize infrastructure, logistics issues.
- Prepare Status Document / Memo / Project related documentation.
- Manage and monitor problem management database.
- Manage day to day project related issues and client-team relationships.
Requirements :: - Candidate must possess a good degree in IT or its equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience in IT Project Management with a good track record.
- Hands-on experience in leading system implementation & conversion project(s).
- Experience in Java (J2SE + J2EE), JavaScript, JSP, Servlets, HTML, SQL, Unix, Linux, XML, Oracle 10g and JDeveloper would be an advantage.
- Experience in leading and implementing overseas projects and managing remote resources would be an advantage.
- Retail domain knowledge would be an advantage.
- Project management training/certification would be an advantage.
- Ability to read, write and converse fluently in Mandarin and English required. Ability to communicate in Cantonese would be an advantage.
