Description :: - Manage IT projects & applications portfolio
- Define application standards and architectures
- Responsible in assist the department strategies development
- Plan, develop, implement and enhance the department standard, policies, and procedures to continuously improve the work efficiency and effectiveness
- Consolidate, optimize, and design/re-design IT/business process across the
enterprise
- Responsible for project management & implementation of the IT systems and solutions
- Steer projects to make them a success in regards to company goals, timeline, budget, required quality through tracking of schedule and process
- Define project scope, goals, objectives, detail plans & ensure the consistency between plans & specifications and execute the project according to the plan,
monitor progress and escalate where there are deviations
- Manage project budget and resource allocation, resolve or assist in the resolution of conflicts within and between projects or functional areas, develop methods to monitor project or area progress, and provide corrective supervision if necessary
- Facilitate the definition of service levels and user requirements. Interact regularly with existing or potential users to determine their needs
- Ensure total quality management and compliance throughout the development period in accordance to project management methodology (PMM) & software development methodology (SDM)
- Ensure proper record and documentation of all correspondences, records/reports
- Perform system trouble shooting, improvement on system stability & performance
- Ensure effective system/disaster recovery and backup plan as well as contingency plan
- Develop strategic plans for data conversion and integration of various platforms between front end and back end system
- Responsible in evaluating and reviewing of the existing application system (inhouse or third party) from time to time, or as when require, to identify area for improvements, including recommending for the new system development and implementation if necessary
 Present oral and written reports defining plans, problems, and resolutions to appropriate levels of management
- Responsible for performance management, professional development and training
- Develops, implements and conduct user-training programs, prepare, test and maintain procedures, security, and training of staff members and end users of administrative IT application system
- Any other initiatives as required by Immediate Superior
Requirements :: - Possess Degree in IT or Computer Science
- With minimum of at least 3 years experience in a similar capacity. Preferably at least 2 years working experience in leading and managing IT professions & Projects
- Good communication skill with the ability to thrive on charge
- Experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with relational database (Microsoft SQL & MySQL)
- Experience in PHP development framework
- Good leadership, evaluation, organizational, analytical and problem solving skills
- Good prioritization skills and be flexible enough to adapt plans
- Must be highly self-motivated, result-oriented, strong orientation to customer service
- Have good command of written and spoken skills in English, Malay and Mandarin
- Hands on experience of Object Oriented Methodology and Object Oriented Programming
- Experience in managing the development of strategic client/server and wed based application, preferably with ERP like implementations
- With exposure to LAMP architecture
- Able to conduct training"
