Description :: 1. To work on ITSR’s planned in a release cycle.
2. Conduct Impact Analysis and estimation for a ITSR
3. Manage the changes and enhancements to the code for a tower/module (eg CIF, Deposits, etc)
4. To manage the Coding and Unit testing for the IT Service Request (ITSR) for that Tower/Module
5. To report ITSR status & issues to project PM
6. To ensure compliance with design and coding standards, IT-Security, good project management practices,
7. To regularly update development manager via established reporting templates for progress updates.
8. To ensure the good quality and unit tested code.
Requirements :: 1. 4-6 yrs in application development on SIBS Product Knowledge/AS 400, RPG, RPG ILE, DB2, CLP. File handling in RPGLE and different specifications used in RPGLE, Use of Opcodes, built-in-functions and indicators
2. Apply programming logic - Arithmetic operations, program flow control, Multiple file access and use of externally described files, display screens and print reports
3. Use of utilities like SEU, SDA, RLU, PDM
4. Error handling
5. Knowledge of application development by using RPG/RPGLE
6. Programming different types of Subfiles, knowledge on keywords used in subfiles, Using Arrays and tables.
7. Data Area Data structures and Compiler Directives, Procedures and sub procedures, Creating the programs in ILE Environment, Calls to Programs and procedures, Activation group concepts
8. Modular programming and Interactive Applications, Code optimization, removal of dead code, etc
9. Interfaces and external dependencies (eg EDI, SWIFT, FIX, etc)
10. Debugging programs - Interactive and Batch
11. Experienced in Application program development
12. Should have strong technical, analytical, design and estimation skills
13. Experience in using AS/400 Tools like RDp, X-analysis, ALDON
14. Should have a Banking domain experience
15. Should have Silverlake core banking product experience
16. Prepare detail design document, technical documentation, unit test cases.
17. Support testing SIT/UAT
