- Hardware Responsibilities:
• Set up and/or installation of PC’s for all academic clusters.
• Set up and/or installation of PC’s for teachers and administration staff.
• Daily set up for special events or meetings of laptop and projectors in requested teaching or administrative area.
• Set up of equipment for specialist clusters such as the music cluster.
• Set up of AV equipment as requested and booked by academic/administrative staff.
• Preparation for presentations for weekly assemblies and meetings as requested.
Software Responsibilities:
• Install, configure and upgrade operating systems.
• Install, configure and upgrade Anti Virus systems as per departmental schedule.
• Install, configure and upgrade iSAMS as per departmental schedule.
• Install software for each department as and when required.
• Install special software as and when required.
• Troubleshoot computer systems.
• Troubleshoot software such as updating, incompatibility with OS, Virus in PC and reformatting a PC.
• Copy CDs for teaching as and when required.
Administration:
• Responsible for stock of and tracking use of Ink Cartridges for academic and administrative use.
• Update the inventory of ICT filing system, goods received documents.
• Liaison with office equipment service suppliers such as Dell and Ricoh on servicing issues.
• Responsible for producing school ID cards annually and as and when new requests are received.
Additional tasks:
• ISAMS data entry
• Support to relevant staff in use of specific ISAMS modules
• Provide training to staff on use of ISAMS functions
• Manage an ISAMS helpdesk for staff
• Support the Deputy Head (Academic), Deputy Head (Pastoral) and Prep School Team Leader in the design and use of relevant ISAMS reports for the purposes of pupil tracking, registration, pastoral issues and other relevant matters
• Support the Examinations Officer in the effective use of the examinations module
• Support the Registrar and Marketing Department in the effective use of ISAMS for data entry and analysis
• Produce and manage ISAMS reports as required
• Work with the network manager to ensure smooth operation of ISAMS at all times
• Conduct regular (annual) updating of key parent/pupil details and update ISAMS accordingly
• Work with the Bursar to ensure all relevant data protection protocols are observed
• All other duties assigned by superior - Requirements :
- •Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
•Required skill(s): it data applications and mis (ideally isams), Av Equipment.
•Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
•At least 4 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
•Applicants must be willing to work in Bandar Enstek.
•Preferably Senior Executives specializing in IT/Computer - Network/System/Database Admin or equivalent.
