Description :: •Scan through original English materials
•Translate to the target language (BM) and retain the meaning and context of the source
•Ensure consistency of terms used in the translation within documents
•Use resource materials and reference books to find the closest equivalents for terminology and words used
•Research appropriate technical and scientific terminology for correct translation
•Proof read and edit final translated versions
•Liaise with clients to discuss any unclear points
•Compile final copies and versions (hard and softcopies)
•To manage all translators matters (for Senior Translator only)
Requirements :: •Recorgnized certificate in translation (e.g Institut Terjemahan Bahasa)
•Having more than 5 years direct translation experience. Hands on experience in handling translation for Maths and Science subjects will be value added advantage
•Well versed in English and Bahasa Malaysia translation - with knowledge of terms used in Mathematics and Science
•Must be a Malaysian
•Able to meet dateline and work under short notice
•Independent and resourceful
