Description :: Job Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate all health and safety matters on-site in compliance with MOM’s Workplace Safety and Health Act (WSH) and other government regulations
Ensure safe work practices are adhered to by all parties in the daily site activities including welding, lifting, scaffolding and the use of hazardous materials
Manage the Safety Management System
Maintain records of all safety related licences and certifications
Conduct risk assessments and investigations to accidents and near misses etc
Requirements :: Job Requirements:
Diploma / Degree in environmental / occupational safety and Health, or other relevant field.
A qualified safety practitioner who is either a Registered Safety Officer with at least 5 years' of relevant experience
Process Certificate in Confined Space Safety Assessor/ Certificate in Lifting Supervisor/ Advance Certificate in WSH & Safety Assessor in “Shipyard”
Familiar with regulatory requirements related workplace safety and health, and all other aspects of safety.
Singaporean / SPR preferred
